Welcome to the New York City Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America!We are a volunteer professional membership organization comprised of individuals who share a mutual appreciation for and fascination with all things lighting. We are lighting designers, architects, engineers, consultants, lighting manufacturers, lighting representatives, electrical distributors and allied professionals.
We are dedicated to promoting both the art and science of illumination to our members, to other professional organizations, to the industry, and to the public through inspiring events, informative programs & educational series, and great networking opportunities.

LightFair International Will Take Place In Philadelphia For 2013 Trade Show And Conference
The IESNYC Student Competition returns in 2012 with "Fraction/Refraction." The competition is open for entries at this time.
Capturing the Lighting Edge, a series of seminars, was designed to provide manufacturers and entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools to develop products, expand markets, and improve current product offerings within the lighting industry.
